On March 14, 2025, 2025 2nd International Conference on Intelligent Manufacturing and Mechatronics (IMM2025) was successfully held online. Jointly hosted by Qingdao University Weihai Innovation Research Institute and Dalian Jiaotong University, the conference brought together nearly 150 experts and scholars from renowned domestic universities and research institutions, fostering a vibrant academic atmosphere throughout the event.

IMM2025 aimed to advance the in-depth development of intelligent manufacturing and mechatronics through extensive academic exchanges, stimulate innovative thinking, and promote interdisciplinary collaboration. Participants shared their latest research findings, explored new research directions, and collectively contributed to the foundation for the future advancement of intelligent manufacturing and mechatronics technologies. On March 02, 2024, the 2024 International Conference on Intelligent Manufacturing and Mechatronics (IMM2024) was successfully held online, convening participants worldwide—including top researchers and industry experts—to explore the future of intelligent manufacturing and mechatronics. Professor Dong Huajun from Dalian Jiaotong University delivered the opening speech, extending a warm welcome on behalf of the host institution to all attending scholars. The conference featured keynote addresses on cutting-edge topics: "AquaTech Unleashed: Opportunities and Challenges in the Internet of Underwater Things" and "Artificial Intelligence to Detect Radio Frequency Signatures of Drones: State-of-the-art & Research Challenges".
